“Freshly Baked!” …Johnny Cupcakes

If any of you readers have been to Boston within the past few years, Newbury Street in particular, there is a different kind of bakery in town…Johnny Cupcakes!

Johnny Cupcakes started out small…selling T-shirts from the trunk of his ‘89 Toyota Camry as a joke, and quickly got pretty famous around the Boston area selling his T-shirts. Johnny Cupcakes has developed a cult following!! Some die-hard fans even have Johnny Cupcakes tattoos.

And who wouldn’t want a tattoo if this was the symbol?? (minus the plaid)

What’s so cool about Johnny Cupcakes is the way that his products are marketed. “Freshly Baked” is the slogan which the company goes by, and it’s true, because Johnny Cupcakes only makes limited edition presses of his T-shirts, so get ‘em while they’re hot!!

Your merch comes in these nifty little bakery boxes, and if you are lucky, the store might be giving out cupcakes on the day that you go!
