New fabric and my tank top…

So I found this way out there spandex for 1$ a yard at wally world. (Yes I am a slave to corporate America)…I’m planning on making a pair of spandex similar to the black Catherine Holstein ones that the model is wearing with heel in this post. Of course, since the spandex are going to be so wild and crazy, I’ll have to tone them down with dark solid prints and solid color heels as well. Very excited…I hope sewing with jersey isn’t too difficult.

I know it is the summer and since I am a country bumpkin, there is not much to do except go for a run, stay indoors, watch netflix, blog and sew. I’m procrastinating horribly on getting my license seeing as we are a one-car family until I am 18! ..I’ll admit that I’ve been hanging out in my pair of turquoise pjs with little brown bobcat pawprints on them until I bothered to go outside don some actual factual clothing and have my picture taken…

I put hair mousse in my hair but the relentless heat and humidity quickly backfired and left me with frizzles…

Can you believe the shoes were a mere $7 at Charlotte Russe? I got them last summer and totally forgot about them. I mean Charlotte Russe is not my favorite but, mental note to self: wear these kicks all over the place!
